Sunni has really started to be quiet the character! She has lots of new tricks! Mean Baby, Sneezing and Singing her ABC's are just a few to mention. She also has started eating big people food. Tonight she was in her highchair and had a pickle in one hand and a strawberry in the other. On her tray was cucumbers and oranges. So she had quiet the variety! Loving every bite too! When she chews she says "yum yum yum" over and over. Its just too cute! Enjoy the pics

Well this is a much much needed update! Since my last post lots of things have happened. First of all Sunni is now 1. Can you believe it? I can't. We had a huge turnout for her birthday party and Sunni got so many nice gifts! I would like to thank everyone who came to her party and for all of the nice presents! Sunni is a very lucky little girl! I think we had about 40 people at the party. I served lunch for everyone and then we had cake and ice cream! The next big news is we have moved! Jess, Sunni and I have moved to Damascus. You will see the pic above of the house. We bought a house and 13 acres. We now can have the horses at our own house! So if anyone wants a house in Greenbrier, mine is for sale! Sunni is a big crawler these days. She crawled for the first time on Valentines Day. I guess that was my present from her! It was a Great present and a huge surprise. Jess, Tom, Sandy, my mom and me were all sitting in the floor with her and she just took off! We all started clapping for her! I can't believe she is getting so big!

Its been forever since I have posted anything. We have been having so much fun I just can't find the time! Lets see. Sunni is getting SOOOO big. She now has 6 teeth. And they are razor sharp! She will not even attempt to crawl. She hates being on her belly. She loves to eat. And trust me when she's hungry she will smack her lips and lick her lips and let you know she is ready for it right then. No time to spare. Oh and she loves Sweet Tea. I can't imagine who she got that from though.
Over the holidays she was sick for a few days but we got over that really quick. She had an ear infection and runny nose. She just didn't really feel good for a few days. But she's all better now.
She had a great Christmas. She really didn't care about her presents but she loved all the boxes and paper. We had lots of places to go. We had 3 different Christmas' in Leslie. And 3 different ones in Greenbrier. She got lots and lots of really nice gifts. She doesn't even have the slightest clue how many people love her! Well I don't think anyone loves her as much as her dad and I. We are so proud of her. Jess and I do not have a social life anymore. Sunni is our life. If Sunni cannot go wherever we go then we don't go! But isn't that how its supposed to be? Im having a really hard time trying to figure out what I am going to do for her first birthday party. Its going to be really cold Im afraid so we don't get to have any outside time. OH well. She probably won't remember it anyways. Enjoy the pics!

Its been a while since I have made a post on here! Things are going great for us. Sunni is really becoming her own little person these days. She for sure has the attitude and personality thing figured out! She's so much fun! This is her trip to see Santa! She wasn't really sure at first about him. She played with his beard and kept looking up at him. She turned that bottom lip out and that was it. Momma to the rescue! Anyways she got her picture made with him on her first Christmas! Her granny got her a hat to wear on Christmas and it says "Wheres my presents"

Trick or Treat!

Well of course we had to take Sunni trick or treatin on her first Halloween. Sunni dressed up as a Sunflower. I think it fit her perfect! Halloween night was a cold night so we started early. We stopped at Momalou and Dah's first. Of course they were excited to see her. And Dah had to have his picture made with her as you can see. He says she is extra special because she was born on his birthday! Then we went to Gangy and Pop Pop's house and had another photo shoot! We went across the street to Payton's house and Payton got Sunni a babydoll for her trick or treat bag. Then we headed up to Aunt Linda's for a candied apple! Sunni loved them. She drooled on one for about ten minutes. Then we went over to Ms. Jane's house next door. Sunni is really starting to get used to Ms. Jane and we are glad because Ms. Jane will make her cookies anytime she wants them she said! Then we came home and waited for trick or treaters to start knocking down our door. It wasn't long either. We had 3 of Jess' students come all the way to Greenbrier just to trick or treat us. They came in and ended stayed for about 30 minutes. Then we had Payton and Danielle. Payton was dressed up as Cotton Candy and Danielle was dressed up as a Cheerleader. Enjoy the pics everyone!

Johnson's Pumpkin Patch

We took Sunni to Johnson's pumpkin patch the saturday before Halloween. It was such a pretty day outside and I just knew Sunni would love to go and see the pumpkins and all the animals. Well it turns out she could have cared less. She tuned up everytime we tried to get a picture! I think they turned out cute! We still had a good time! And as you can see from the pictures, Jess even enjoyed his first visit to the pumpkin patch!

Sunni's new Puppy, Izzy!

Sunni got her first puppy. She is a minature Schnauzer and her name is Izzy. We went to Cabot and got her and stopped to eat at Red Lobster on the way home. Sunni was so good for us. She sat in her bumbo seat on the table while we ate. Of course she was the center of attention. I think every waitress, waitor, cook and dishwasher came to our table to see "The cute little Girl" as they were calling her. I will have to say she looked extra cute. We all had a good time and had some good eatin!

Hey everyone! Well Sunni had her doctors visit and had to get the dreaded shots :(. She did good though considering the circumstances. I was having surgery that day and her shots had been scheduled for that day and were supposed to be given at 6 months but the clinic couldn't get her in because of the Kind. physicals. So mom and Jess took me for my surgery and Aunt Linda and Mandy Dawn kept Sunni and had to take her for her shots. It all worked out good. Sunni didn't feel good for a few days but neither did I. A big THANK YOU to mom for staying with me and getting up with Sunni at night so I could get some rest. Also a big thank you to Linda and Mandy for watching Sunni while I had surgery. And anyone else I left off thank you so much for helping us out during this time! I was very stressed about it to say the least. We are all back to normal almost!

The top picture is of Sunni and her Aunt Brook! Aunt B went with us to the ACA finals in Searcy this year. We were so glad to have her along with us. The bottom picture is of Sunni and her Daddy at the rodeo. And the middle picture is of Sunni at dinnertime. She loves her sweet potatoes. Well of course I have to share the newest pictures with everyone. We had them made a few weeks ago and I am just now getting time to post. I haven't posted in forever I know. But who has time these days to do anything with a 7 month old around the house! Sunni is doing great! We have recently started eating baby foods. She loves sweet potatoes and squash. We add butter and salt to her food or I don't think she would ever eat anything. For desert so far we have tried applesauce and bananas. She seems to get along great with it so far. She doesn't eat a lot but she does eat some! That's all I can ask for I guess! She still likes her momma's milk the best! We go to the doctor next week for her LATE 6 month checkup. They couldn't get her in because of the kindergarten physicals. Anyways hope you enjoy the pics.

We had Sunni's pictures made. They were supposed to be her 4 month pictures but she was going to look so much like her previous ones that we waited a month. So they are her 5 month pictures. Once again we got them made with Shelly Davis in Greenbrier. She does such a great job. I think they really turned out sweet! Sunni has on a pink and white striped Ralph Lauren dress that Aimee and the boys got her for Christmas last year before she was even born! She will be getting her pics made again next month. 5 month update!

Well Sunni is now a little over 5 months old. She's doing great. She is just jabbering away all the time. She now loves her bath time. She kicks and squeals and splashes. Whenever Jess and I get home from work she just gets so excited and really starts trying to tell us stuff. She loves to blow bubbles with her mouth. When she gets really excited that's what she does. She has started eating cereal in the mornings. She usually takes about 3 oz in the mornings and that's about the only time of the day we can get her to eat it. She's been on Axid now for about 2 weeks for her reflux and that really seems to be helping her belly. I just had to clean out her chest of drawers. She is now in a 3-6 month size on her clothes. Seems like yesterday we were all searching high and low for preemie clothes. She's in a great routine now. We get her bath at 7 which is about a 30 minute deal now that she loves to splash and kick. She then gets her pj's on and nurses for a while. If she doesn't fall asleep nursing we usually play for about 15 min or so and then its time for bed. She's out usually until about 4 or 5. She then gets up to eat and goes back to bed until about 830 or so. Sunni is such a good baby! And I will have to say she's cute too! And im not just saying that cause she's mine!

4 month check up!

We went to the doctor on Wednesday July 5th for a 4 month check up. Dr. Holland said Sunni is doing great! She weighs 12 lbs and she is 22 3/4 inches long. Everything checked out great. Then the bad stuff came. We had to get another round of shots. :( Sunni did not like this at all. She screamed so loud and it just echoed throughout the doctors office. She was fine after she got wrapped up in her blanket. During the night she had a fever but with the help of tylenol she was able to overcome that! Dr. Holland also put Sunni on Zantac and Reglan for her reflux. So hopefully those meds will kick in and help her little belly out! Sunni's a great baby. I could not ask for anything more perfect than she is! I feel so blessed by having her and the Love I have for her is unexplainable!

Its so amazing to me how you can sit there and watch them learn and figure different stuff out every day. She's 4 months old now. We go tomorrow for our 4 month check up and to get some shots :(. I am predicting that she weighs about 13 pounds! Also want to say Congrats to Luke and Amanda Goodman on the birth of their new baby Girl Madeline Elizabeth. She weighed 5 lbs and 15 oz. First of all I want to tell Zach and April thank you so much for letting us borrow the swing! This swing has been a life saver! Sunni loves it so much! I can now come home from work and cook supper and do what I need to do and not have Sunni in my arms or sitting in her other swing crying because she does not like it! She loves this swing so much. Its almost an instant silence when I put her in it! As you can see from this picture she is very very content!

Hello everyone! The picture to the left is on of Sunni and Ivy on our way to swim at Teresa's house! When we got into the car Sunni started crying and of course Ivy was giving her some looks! It was too cute. Ivy tried to tear up but she was in such a good mood because we were going bye bye that she would forget about it! Soon they were both asleep and it made for a peaceful ride the rest of the way. Once we got to Cabot we unloaded all of our gear! Ivy just loved the water! She splashed and kicked and screamed. She had so much fun in the water even though it was pretty chilly! I stuck Sunni's foot in the water and she did not care to much for it. So from the above picture you can see what Sunni did all day. She lounged in her swing! We had the radio going and there was a nice breeze in the shade. She slept most of the time we were there! Thank you Teresa for letting us come swim at your house!

Yesterday afternoon when I got home from work I had company! Aunt Linda was there keeping Sunni and Mandy Dawn came over for a visit! So after we visited for a bit it was time to go eat at Gangy's house! Sunni was in her car seat ready to go and Mandy was talking to her. Sunni was getting so excited and giggling at her. I don't know that I have ever seen her laugh this hard. I wish I could have gotten more pictures and better pictures. But all that I had handy was my phone. Also Sunni is 12 weeks old today. She also is sleeping in her big girl bed! Its amazing how time flies. Seems like yesterday when she was still in my belly! This little girl just doesn't understand how much I love her and everyone else for that matter! She's an angel.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a few pictures with you. We had Sunni's pictures made Monday night with Shelly. At first she was not really wanting to take any pictures so we got a couple of awake shots! I think they turned out really good. The black and white ones are SO cute! Then she finally went to sleep and that's when the fun began! We took so many pictures of her. Its amazing how many different pictures you can take of an asleep baby! I want to say thank you to April for letting us borrow Ivy's dress. I think they dress just made Sunni look like even more of angel than she already is. I was very very pleased with these pictures! I just had to share this picture! Teresa gave me this "sweet pea" pillow. I use it to lay Sunni on while she's nursing! Sunni likes to be propped up on it while she's taking a nap! Of course Sunni didn't fall asleep with the bumble bee in her arms, I put that there because I thought it was cute! The bee has little red lights that light up on his cheeks and he plays music and Sunni will just stare at him and try to figure out what he is! She's really beginning to focus on things now. When you hold her she will just study your face. Its like she's taking it all in so she can remember who she likes to hold her and who she doesn't like! She is starting to stay awake more during the day as well! And she's doing her best to talk. She's growing up way to fast! She's about to be 2 months old!

At times she enjoys her bath and at other times she gets mad at me and will cry. I love this picture because she is so wide awake. I had been wanting to get my pictures made since my belly was getting so big! So I called Shelly and we made an appt for Monday the 20th. We had a lot of fun taking the pictures! I think Jess enjoyed these as well! Anyways Shelly kept telling me over and over Jessi I swear your going to have that baby soon! I was like Shelly she's not due for another 6 weeks. She kept saying your belly is so low, she looks like she has dropped! I just kinda blew it off what she was saying! But sure enough she was right! 2 days later Sunni Brint decided to join the world! Here are a couple of our pictures! I will have to say this I do miss my big belly! I don't miss not being able to sleep comfortably but I do miss that belly! I didnt realize until I got these pictures back that my belly was so big!

Ok I have been meaning to do this for a while now but things kinda have been crazy! I wanted to post the pictures of Jess and I when we were babies before she was born so we could all kinda guess in our minds what she would look like! Well that didnt happen! So now I get to post all 3 of our newborn pictures and you can decide who she looks like! I think its a great mix between both of us! At birth Jess weighed 9 lbs 11 oz. I weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and Sunni weighed 4 lbs and 13 oz! Im really glad she didnt go full term because I think she would have been a big baby! I cant imagine having a 9 lb baby! Jess is the one with all the black hair. Im the one that looks mad! I think I still have that look! She does have my hair line though!

Hello everyone! I wanted to post a couple of pictures to show you how big Sunni is getting! We went to the doctor for her newborn check up and she is back up to her birthweight of 4 lbs 13 oz. Well its been over a week now since we went and I know she has to be at least 5 pounds because her cheeks are filling out so much! She is a very happy and content baby! She is eating over 2 oz now. And also instead of waking up every 3 hours in the night I decided to try it out and see how she did with her waking me up to eat when she was hungry! It worked out GREAT! I fed her at 10:00 and put her to bed and she woke me up about 2:30 to eat. So we got up and she ate and I changed her and put her back to bed! She woke up at 7:00am! WOW! I actually got 4 hours of sleep in a row! I just hope she keeps this up! Im doing my best to get her on a good schedule before I have to go back to work! Which by the way I dread! But oh well I know she will be in good hands! Anyways enjoy the pics! I will keep updating!

Well guys she's finally here!! Can you believe it? Sunni Brint was born on Feb 23, 2006. She weighed 4 lbs and 13 oz. She was 18 inches long! She was 6 weeks early which sorda gave us a little scare at first! As soon as she was born she was taken into NICU where she was put on oxygen. They slowly were able to take her off of oxygen. She also had a feeding tube for a few days. It didn't take her long to figure out how the real world worked and how to do everything on her own! After a LONG week and 2 days in the hospital we are now at home doing good. She is eating every 3 hours. She is eating about 55 cc's every 3 hours. At the hospital we were doing good to get 20 down her! She loves being at home! And she loves her mommy and daddy! I would like to thank everyone who came to the hospital to see us! The thoughts and prayers are all greatly appreciated! Sunni is a very lucky little girl to have so many wonderful friends and family members. To be on the safe side and for Sunni's benefit we would like to keep the visitors to adults only. There will be plenty of time for Sunni to see her friends and cousins, but at this point we have got to be very careful. I think everyone will understand! Also, I wanted to let you know that Sunni was born on her Great Grandpa Joe Dillard's birthday and her Great Uncle Danny Akers birthday!

Monday Feb 13th 33 week visit!

Today I had another 2 week check up! Im not quiet at 33 weeks but close enough to say it! He did another ultrasound and measured her head, belly and thighs! He said he is guessing Sunni weighs about 4 lbs 5 oz! But whose to say he is right! I know she feels a lot bigger than that. He also told me she had dropped and she is head down! Mom has been telling me all weekend that she thought she had dropped. Well she was right! I did go to the doctor last week. I thought my water broke last Tuesday and I even started having contractions on the way to the hospital. Come to find out my water didn't break but I was actually having contractions. Dr. Cole gave me a shot to stop my contractions and put me on some meds to keep them stopped. He wants me to take these meds now for another week or so....I asked him about setting a date as well.. He said it was a little to early to do that just yet...But maybe next time! So maybe next time we will have a date. That way everyone can plan to take off work!!!! :)

Sunni's Baby Shower! Jan 28th

My shower was great! I want to first thank Aimee Strack, Brandi Malone and Pam Akers for throwing me this wonderful shower! There was so much thought and time put towards this special day. They even kept me up till 1:30 the night before the shower decorating and cooking the yummy food we had. Also I would like to comment on the diaper cake! The diaper cake is made out of 80 diapers! Im sure I will be able to use them soon! You all will never know how much I appreciate it! I also would like to thank Teresa Barry for the cake! It was so cute and so good! As you can see from the above picture my shower was a success! I got so many nice gifts from everyone! Words cannot express how much I appreciate everyone for coming and for all the wonderful gifts I received. Jess and I are truly blessed to have such great friends and family! Sunni just don't know how lucky she is! Thanks again to everyone!

January 30th! 32 Weeks

Well I went to the doctor today! He said everything looked good. He said she is gaining weight like she is supposed to and my weight gain is fine! He even said I could stand to gain more weight! Which I do not like the thought of! We tried to look at her on the ultrasound machine but she's to big to see now! She weighs about 3 lbs and 11 oz. So she gained a pound from the last visit! Things are looking good and the time is drawing near for her to be here! If she only knew how bad I want her here now so I can kiss her cheeks! She doesn't know how much I love her so much already!

Sunni's Toy Box!

Ok I have a few pics from my shower but Im waiting on the rest of them before I make my posting about my shower! I did want to post a pic of Sunni's toy box. Lauren had this toy box made for her! She searched the internet and found the one she loved and took it to this man in Conway to have it made. She then painted it and put her initials on it as you can see. The toybox is made of cedar. It also has special hinges on the lid of it so that Sunni cannot smash her fingers! This toy box is HUGE. As Lauren says she's gonna be able to fit in it until she is 25. Its soooo cute! Jess and I both love it! It looks really cute in her room. And im sure it will not take long for the box to be filled with toys! She's already got a pretty good start and she's not even here! In this pic you can also see one of her other walls in her room. Sarah Chaney and Ms. Sandra came up Saturday before the shower. Sarah had told me she had a few things for her walls. It was her name in the wooden letters along with the flower, butterfly, heart and coat hooks! She hung them for me and it looks soo good....More on her room and shower to come!

Sunni's Bedroom

Aimee informed me that her, Brandi and Pam were throwing me my baby shower on Jan 28th. Well of course I wanted Sunni's room to be all finished before the shower started. Aimee told me she was coming home Wednesday and we would get started and we would finish it! So I took off work Friday so we could get my house and Sunni's room all fixed. Aimee and I had been talking about what we were going to do on the walls. We knew we wanted a Sun on there but just didn't know exactly how we wanted it. So Aimee starts in drawing suns on paper. Well she had a rough draft of a sun that looked almost like this one! It was my favorite...So Teri Beth brought home her projector and we traced the round part of the sun on the wall. Aimee freehanded the rest of it. I think it turned out SOOOOO cute! Its right above her crib. It just makes her room look so bright and cheerful! The other picture on here is of the opposite wall from the Sun. Once again we used Teri Beths projector to trace this. Also Teri Beth helped me pick out this special saying for her wall. So we traced it and then I gave the job of painting to Teri Beth and Aimee. Then the other picture with her name is the other wall. That is her new toy box that Lauren got her along with her name is wooden letters that Sarah got her. There are also 3 little coat hooks underneath her name. You can see her palm leaf cowboy hat that Landan got for her. And hanging on the middle coat hook is her housecoat that mom got her for Christmas! Poor baby doesn't have anything! I think everyone did a great job on the room! Im so very thankful to both Aimee and Teri Beth and everyone for helping me get her room completed. Keep checking the site for pictures from my shower!

January Visit!

We went back to the doctor today. No pictures of her! Sorry. I have now started my 2 week visits. Everything looks good. She weighed 2 lbs and 12 oz. Of course I had to ask Dr. Cole if he thought I would go full term. He told me if I made it to 38 weeks then we would enduce! So that shortens my count down time by 2 weeks! That just made me even more excited! Jess and I have been working for about the past 3 weekends on getting Sunni's room finished! The walls are painted a light sea green color. Her crib and changing table finally arrived and is put together. A big Thank you goes out to Sunni's Granny and Grandpa Knapp for the beautiful crib and changing table! I do have a picture of her crib. Keep in mind I dont have her bedding or the walls decorated! Also I wanted to let everyone know that we have decided to name her Sunni Brint!

Before Sunni gets here I wanted Jess and I to have our pictures made together. We had them done with Shelly Davis Photography in Greenbrier! She did a great job. We had fun posing all the different poses! I even think Jess liked it!! Ive added one of our pictures on here!! I think they turned out pretty good!!

November 17, 2005 Twenty week visit

Its a GIRL! Yes its official we are having a baby girl. We went for our twenty week visit today and the doctor had no doubts that we are having a girl. We got to really see her good today. We counted her fingers and her toes. She even raised her arms up above her head. Jess said she was already getting ready to swing a rope! The picture I have on here is of her profile. It looks like she is laying on her back looking up. You can see her tiny nose. The dark spot on her chest is her heart. Her nose already reminds me of Stacy's nose when she was little! The doctor showed us her spine, lungs etc. Her health is great and she is right on target for a twenty week old as far as her growth. We have decided to name her Sunni. The middle name is still up in the air!

16 week visit Oct 17, 2005

Well we had our 16 week visit today. He said chances are its a girl but he wouldnt paint the room pink just yet. Anyways we got a couple of pictures today. The picture on the left you can see the face. He has the eyes and the chest marked. The picture on the right you can see the spine. Everything looks good so far! We will confirm it on our next visit what we are having!

12 Week Visit

This is the next cool ultrasound we had. This is our september visit. I am now 12 weeks along. You can actually see the arms, legs and body. It looks like a baby finally! The heartbeat looks good and everything is going great! We MIGHT be able to tell what it is next time. What will it be BOY or GIRL? The baby is kinda laying upside down. He/She has its right arm laying over its chest.

Due date of April 4th, 2006

Today was our first doctors visit! Here is a picture of the first ultrasound. You cannot really tell much about it other than it looks like a piece of rice. Our due date is April 4th, 2006. It was to early to detect a heartbeat so we go back in 3 weeks.
